IOP Strategic Plan

The City of Isle of Palms is undergoing a Strategic Plan development process.

The City engaged the services of the College of Charleston's Joseph P Riley Center for Livable Communities to help develop the plan. The plan development process has been ongoing since May 26, 2020 and has included multiple meetings with City Staff, City Council, and a public survey conducted online.

The initial presentation from the Joseph P Riley Center for Livable Communities which outlines the goals and process for strategic planning is available here and it was discussed at the May 26, 2020 Council meeting.  Strategic planning is a vital process which will help the City not only assess our current situation, and effectively plan for the future.
